Television Server Administrator

Television Chief Engineer

Responsibilities:

As TV Server Administrator for The Potter’s House of Dallas, you must be a Team-focused,

self-motivated individual. As each day may be different you will be called upon to oversee many different tasks and operations. Some of these may include:

Ingesting, and Transcoding of content

Managing Archival of content using Editshare ARK software Loading, Unloading, and Sorting of LTO Tapes into Tape Library

Locating, and restoring archived media from LTO tapes for use in projects Ensuring show content upload systems are active, and troubleshooting issues Quality Control checks of recorded content, and show deliverables Cleanup/organization of online storage volumes

Occasional editing of projects, uploading of deliverables

Training of other staff on best practices and procedures of Editshare System

Required skills include:

Familiar with Apple and PC systems

Be able to work with many different types of people Be able to listen and process information

Remember specific information over long periods of time Communicate clearly and concisely

Manage time effectively Understand and meet Deadlines

Maintain Positive and Professional attitude during times of Pressure Always do what is best for the operation of the team

 

Additional duties as needed and as delegated.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm One Hour Lunch

Some weekends and travel required

Must check company issued cell phone/email on a consistent basis
