Job Duties
Under general supervision, the Television Technical Engineer III will work independently and collaborate with a team of broadcast engineers to maintain the television production facilities hardware and software workflows.
Duties & Responsibilities: Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Collaborate to design, develop and implement technical systems for the Television department
- Develop timelines and budgets for Television projects
- Write RFP’s
- Create specs for bid
- Address technical problems
- Troubleshoot and repair television equipment
- Maintain television inventory
- Shade cameras for live and recorded productions
- Communicate with vendors and contractors on Television projects
- Prepare & Setup on/off site locations for all Television projects
- Routine preventive maintenance of Television equipment
- Communicating through Trello, email or phone
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years broadcast experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiar with PC and Apple systems
- Stay current on Broadcast standards and best practices
- Ability to work within a fast-paced, high-change environment while meeting all project deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be timely and organized
- Ability to work well independently and with a team
- A valid driver’s license
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to stand and walk for extended period of time and able to lift 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work with fiber optic and IP signal flow
- Strong understanding of broadcast television fundamentals and computer networking
- Ability to create and repair custom video, fiber and ethernet cable assemblies
- Able to read and understand technical materials

Schedule:
8-hour shift
Sunday 6am – 2pm, Tuesday – Friday 10am-6pm
