Job Duties
Ensure the stable operation of hybrid Azure environments, enterprise backups, and endpoint security in Windows and Mac OS environments. This includes planning, deploying, configuring, and maintaining all corporate software, group policies, and network backups. The person will also manage the organization’s UEM platform and provide end user training where required across a multi-campus network.
Duties & Responsibilities: Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Work closely with sysops, networking, and security teams to diagnose root causes, and resolve problems.
- Administer hybrid on-prem and Azure Active Directory/ Office 365 / SharePoint.
- Provide onsite and remote desktop support for all PH campuses and affiliate offices.
- Manage remote desktop management and software deployments using Microsoft and VMWare Workspace ONE platforms.
- Manage desktop PC and Mac backups and endpoint security.
- Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Interact and negotiate with vendors, and contractors to secure network products and services.
- Work with streaming team to provide live and VOD streaming services.
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance to junior members of the team.
- Provide weekly status updates to management.
- Work with Sysops and infrastructure engineers in disaster recovery development and updates.
- Provide light backup support to Sysops engineer.
Basic Qualifications:
- College diploma or university degree in computer science and/or 5 years equivalent work experience.
- Microsoft, Apple, or other related Certifications.
- PowerShell knowledge is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive Azure and on-prem Active Directory management including Group Policies.
- Extensive application support experience with Office 365, SharePoint, and Adobe products.
- Extensive experience in administering Workspace ONE UEM platform.
- Working technical knowledge of network and desktop operating systems, including Windows Server 2019 and above, Windows 10 – current, Mac OS X 13.0 – current.
- Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards.
- Working knowledge of network monitoring tools.
- Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
