We are seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Strategist to provide guidance and advisement through digital marketing transformation. As a liaison within the department, this candidate should have a strong knowledge in digital marketing that includes an ability to distribute content through all of our digital channels including, but not limited to: social, email, SMS text messaging, and web. This role requires a high level of strong interpersonal skills, exceptional verbal and written communications skills, and holistic thinking. The position is based out of our corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas and reports to the Digital Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Become an expert on our mission, brands, and audiences to help spread the word of the Lord!
- Take an asset through to completion by distributing on all relevant platforms including social media networks, web pages, YouTube, in-service promotional vehicles, SMS text messaging, email campaigns, OTT, on-demand solutions,
- Keep up-to-date and utilize the latest and brand relevant features of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok and other social media networks
- Attend Sunday and/or Wednesday services, or large-scale conferences and events for identifying key sermon messages, developing content-focused assets, and distributing assets through digital channels
- Work to provide analytics and a complete understanding of the effectiveness of digital campaigns
- Administer of digital marketing tool to develop email marketing strategies, and generating templates/layouts with the goal of increasing engagement and open rates
- Develop and update email reporting that tracks KPIs and business metrics on a regular basis to uncover actionable trends, insights and forecasts
- Hands-on experience with online marketing tools and practices
- Stay up-to-date with our audience’s preferences and proactively suggest new campaigns
- Work with Digital Marketing Manager to create problem-solving digital ad campaigns month over month while creating integrated and cost effect digital marketing efforts
- Research products, services and current strategies to identify
- Deliver regular reports that analyze performance across digital channels
- Work with content producers and graphic designers to create collaterals
- Assist with finding creative solutions to garner engagement on social media platforms
- Maintain a working knowledge of Social Media trends, applications and best
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to maintain brand consistency and harmonization
- Stay up-to-date on ‘Partner’s in Christ’ digital marketing efforts and industry news/trends
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum 4-6 years’ experience in Digital Strategy, Marketing and Analytics
- Email Marketing Experience is required, Campaign Monitor experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and use good judgment in resolving complex issues
- Maintains 360-Thinking
- Exceptional Verbal and Written Communication Skills, and strong negotiation skills
- Execute the distribution of assets like a well-oiled machine
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Data Analysis, Email Marketing or other related field
- Proven work experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist, Email Marketing Specialist and/or Digital Marketing Strategist
- Experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, YouTube Analytics, Instagram Insights and more
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and general email deign
- Superior writing/grammar skills
- Motivated self-starter that’s deadline driven and task-oriented
- Faith-based knowledge extremely useful in this role
