DALLAS-AREA CEOs ATTEND LEADERSHIP GATHERING
FEATURING T.D. JAKES
Inaugural A Conversation with…’ breakfast series launched to exchange ideas among diverse business leaders

April 4, 2013, DALLAS –Dallas CEOs gathered at The Park City Club for an untraditional breakfast exchange with entrepreneur and pastor, T.D. Jakes, and other prominent Dallas leaders including Mayor Mike Rawlings who introduced the featured speaker.

The March 14 event kicked off the new breakfast talk series called, “A Conversation with…” featuring T.D. Jakes. The talk entitled “A Conversation with… Bishop T.D. Jakes; Our Dysfunctional Government—Whatever Happened to Comity, Compromise, and Cooperation, was the vision of Forrest Smith, founding partner in Ryan Law, LLP, his daughter Candy Smith of Candy Smith Productions and Stephanie Holbrook, whose firm, George Belcher Evans & Wilmer, co-sponsored the event along with Ryan Law, LLP.
The Smiths created the series to provide a safe place for leaders of varying faith backgrounds to discuss the serious issues facing our local business communities and our local and national leadership.

The Q&A formatted program allowed T.D. Jakes, who is primarily known as a pastor of the 30,000 member church, The Potter’s House of Dallas, to discuss his other business ventures, interests beyond the pulpit and his own concerns for the political vitriol, Congressional gridlock and the direction of our nation.
