From the giving of faithful and prayerful Partners (Aaron's Army and Bishop's Circle), we have been given the privilege to many people. During a recent trip to Kenya, 120 medical professionals from Houston, Dallas, Oklahoma, and New York to staff five clinics in a three-day humanitarian relief effort. Over 700 pounds of medicine and the unused supply of medicine, prescriptions, and medical supplies were left for the future care of the people.

Over six tons of food has been delivered to the desperate area of rural Kenya West Pokot. And just recently, a huge gusher has hit during the drilling process for water, enough to supply a small city.

Since the first well, the ministry has christened 11 additional wells, laid a 15,000 kilometer pipeline to provide this life-sustaining liquid to others, assisted in completing a hospital wing, and implemented a model for community living. The ministry has also provided food, medical equipment, medicine, eye exams, and the Word.

Before serving and helping others around the globe, the Partners helped to provide basic living needs to more than 1,800 survivors of Hurricane Katrina, distributing 2,000 mattresses, provide for the needs of 500 plus children; arranging housing for more than 1,000 people, donating hundreds of volunteer hours, serving 500 families since the start of 2006, and supplying hope and love to many families from Louisiana.

One of the first responders to the Katrina crisis, Bishop Jakes sent 18 wheelers loaded with food, water, and clothing to the desperate people of Louisiana and Mississippi. Immediate assistance in the form of $250,000 in ready to eat meals, nutrition bars, water, ice, and first aid, representing 200 tons of material relief, were trucked into the region as the first of the relief efforts The Potter's House would provide. More than 1,000 survivors were placed in homes, fed, and clothed through The Potter's House's regional phone bank. Countless more were provided with medical treatment, free resume' assistance and invited to a job fair for employment assistance.

The work that's been accomplished in Africa is partly due to your financial commitment. We thank you, Partners for keeping your word and helping to make an impact in the lives of those who were once forgotten and forsaken. May God bless you in return.
