MISSION STATEMENTTo Galvanize, Mobilize, Equip, and Empower an exceeding great army of Word trained, warring men who are full of faith and the Holy Ghost to possess the land. AMEN - Adullam Men's Empowerment Network On January 23, 1999, the honorable Bishop T. D. Jakes, Founder & Senior Pastor of The Potter's House Church in Dallas, Texas appointed and commissioned Elder Ray Orr to build a men's ministry at The Potter's House. Elder Ray Orr accepted this assignment in a volunteer capacity and today The Potter's House Men's Ministry aka AMEN (Adullam Men's Empowerment Network) has grown to 10,500 plus men with a 400 voice men's choir. He credits God, Bishop T. D. Jakes, Pastor Lawrence Robinson, and the men at The Potter's House for this monumental accomplishment. He says of the men ministry, "It is my calling, my purpose in life and I'm very passionate about men's ministry." He has become a mentor to some men and a big brother to others. He is a leader by example and his work ethic has always made him a leader. He is a consultant to pastors, men's ministry leaders, and marketplace kings around the nation.
The acronym A.M.E.N. stands for Adullam Men's Empowerment Network It is the name of The Potter's House men's ministry and was born from I Samuel 22:1, 2 "David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam: and when his brethren and all his father's house heard it, they went down thither to him. And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men."
Adullam, which means "retreat or refuge", was associated with a cave or safe haven where David fled for refuge when he was fleeing from King Saul. The Lord has given our spiritual overseer and valiant leader, Bishop T.D. Jakes, a vision to provide a safe haven and restoration station for each and every man in our church, city, and the nations.
