Learn how to raise capital for your business!

Dallas, July 9, 2009 — In an effort to help existing and prospective business professionals and entrepreneurs increase their capital, Bishop T.D. Jakes of The Potter’s House, is hosting Breakfast of Champions featuring  financial experts Brian Bruce and Gregory Hext at 8:30 a.m., July 18, 2009 at The Ritz-Carlton Dallas

“Many businesses are dealing with considerable challenges as a result of sluggish sales and are faced with difficulties in securing financing from banks, and my hope is that any business professional who is struggling to thrive in these tough economic times, will gain information to sustain them,” said Bishop Jakes, initiator of Breakfast of Champions.

The forum, which was first held in May with more than 500 attendees, is for anyone who is dedicated to success and excellence in business, leadership, economic and social empowerment; and provides an opportunity to network with experienced leaders, and hear from powerful speakers whohave proven track records of overcoming tremendous odds and obstacles to attain their goals and dreams.

Mr. Brian Bruce, professor at Southern Methodist University's Business School, will discuss the current state of privately and publicly traded investments from the investor’s perspective; and Mr. Gregory W. Hext, CEO of Chapman, Hext & Co., will share important information and helpful tips on how to obtain money for business owners in his presentation on private equity from the entrepreneurial perspective.

“Attendees will get a better view of what the issues are in the current credit environment with an opportunity to ask questions of someone who works in the capital markets every day,” said Hext.  “They should expect to leave with an overall view of the various options for financing a business in the current environment.”

Breakfast of Champions is open to the public. Registration is required. The cost to attend is $60, which includes registration and breakfast. Attire is business professional. Visit www.tdjakes.org for more information and to register.
