The Potter’s House Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary Print E-mail

The Potter’s House will combine its usual 8:00 a.m and 11:30 a.m. services into one power-packed, Sunday service at 10:00 a.m. on July 2, 2006

WHAT: Bishop T.D. Jakes and The Potter’s House invite the public to join them as they celebrate the church’s 10-year anniversary. A decade ago, The Potter’s House began as a small group of 50 families and soon grew into a multiracial, nondenominational mega church. With more than 30,000 members and over 50 active outreach ministries, the church is now one of the largest in the nation.

The celebration service will feature award-winning opera singer, Angela Brown, spectacular spiritual performances by The Potter’s House Mass Choir and the Ministry of Fine Arts Department. It will also include the implementation of six new pastors. Ample parking and shuttle services will be available on Merrifield Road, Grady Niblo, Dan Morton, the Westmoreland Dart station, and at Clay Academy.
