Pastor Rob Rocha is an associate pastor of The Potter’s House of Dallas. As an associate pastor, he oversees the church’s Hispanic and international ministries. His journey into ministry began as a teen after receiving his call at a youth camp in Sacramento, New Mexico. God spoke to Pastor Rob in 2001, causing him to step out of his musical comfort zone to tend to God’s people as a pastor. In June 2001, Pastor Rocha became a youth pastor and in 2004, he became the associate pastor of the same parsonage in Weslaco, Texas. He has served as president of the Christian Ministerial Alliance of his community and has worked closely with pastors from other denominations as well as Hispanic pastors from that area to promote diversity, along with several community ecumenical worship experiences and events. Pastor Rocha is a native of Edinburg, Texas, and is a published writer and poet. He successfully developed a Sunday school curriculum for junior high school students called, LifeBuilders. As a musician, Pastor Rocha has led praise and worship for several youth and adult camps and retreats in Texas, Colorado and Mexico. As an artist and songwriter, he has written songs for other artists and was signed to a Christian music label out of Oregon for a brief time. Pastor Rocha and his wife, Pauline, reside in Grand Prairie with their four children, Amanda, Samantha, Cathy and Robbie.
