Give Away Cars to Single Mothers |
Dallas, May 2006 – Under the weight of issues, like financial stability, health concerns, and broken relationships, it’s a struggle for many women across America to meet life’s daily challenges, much less achieve their dreams and maximize their leadership potential. The Potter’s House will present pre-owned cars donated by the Crest Auto Group to 10 of the church’s single mothers. Automobile ownership often makes the difference between success and failure in the lives of women raising their children alone. This is particularly so in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex where public transportation is limited. A mother with a reliable car can take her children to school, attend school herself or go to work, and pick up her children at the end of the day. A car also provides the means for a mother to transport her children to and from extra curriculum activities on Saturdays and to church on Sunday. |
