E-Church Family,

Thank you for your faithful support. What a move of God we experienced yesterday during Sunday service. If you were able to attend the service online I hope you were filled by God’s Spirit in regards to the struggle to remain relevant. Matthew 5:13-14 refers to us as the salt of the earth. We are like a city that is set on a hill that cannot be hidden. In every aspect of our lives let us strive to be the most effective person God has called us to be. We’ve all had times we have missed an ordained moment by God but, now is the time to be prepared for the next moment when God calls us to the right place at the right time. I would like to spend a couple moments to encourage you that now is the time and this time we are going all the way with God.

The struggles we go through are a part of the process. In 1 Samuel 1:10 it says Hannah was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the Lord, and wept sore. She asked the Lord to look upon her sorrow and answer her prayer to give her a son. God heard from heaven and gave her Samuel. Through Hannah’s struggle came this prophet who in 1 Samuel 3:11 the Lord says, “Behold I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.” There is nothing like the appreciation of what God has done when you have been through something. Today you may be going through a struggle but, I want to encourage you that it is only the vehicle to get you to where God wants you to be. God is going to take you from your struggle to relevant.

I’d like to share one final thought with you. Our Bishop mentioned the service that was required. The bible says in Luke 17:14 Jesus said unto them, “Go show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.” In the midst of our struggle let us not forget the power of our service. It is in our service that God shows himself. If we are to remain relevant let us remain in service. Our Bishop T.D. Jakes referred to faith as, “Doing what you are going to do until God fixes it.” As the men walked they were cleansed. God has not forgotten about you. Remain available and in service and in the midst of your service God is going to make you relevant.

Let me say a quick word of prayer over you. Father God, I come to you with thanksgiving and praise. Today, I pray that each and every person who reads this will now and for eternity have the ears to hear when you call. Speak from eternity and bring light into our darkness. Wipe away every tear and bring forth a new thing. Help us to surrender in private, to prepare us for our relevance in public. Create in us a clean heart to be available at all times glorifying the name of the Lord today and forevermore. In Jesus’s mighty name I pray. Amen.

Always thinking about you Echurch family and praying for you constantly.

Have a blessed week,

Pastor Onterio Green
