Statement on the Passing of Dr. Billy Ingram of Maranatha Community Church
DALLAS, March 9, 2011 - The Potter's House family is deeply saddened by the loss of our dear brother in Christ, Dr. Billy Ingram. Dr. Ingram went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 8 at his home in Los Angeles.
In this time of sorrow, we also celebrate a legacy that extends to every heart and life transformed throughout his 40 years of faithful service.
The suddenness and unexpectedness of such a tremendous a loss makes us appreciate the vibrancy of a life lived so fully and richly.
We only regret the shortness of time that we were to share such a precious gift who gave of himself so selflessly and sacrificially for the betterment of others. Those who knew him witnessed his passion for the ministry and his deep love for God's people.
We extend our deepest condolences to his wife, children and to the Maranatha Community Church family in their time of grief. We pray for that Jehovah Shalom would fill each life with a peace that surpasses all understanding.
