October 19, 2011, DALLAS – Top gospel recording artists, Karen Clark Sheard, Fred Hammond & GrandDad Turner, Israel Houghton, Tamela Mann, The Nevels Sisters, Bishop Gary Oliver, and Preashea Hilliard will be a part of the star-studded musical line up at the 2011 “Woman, Thou Art Loosed!” Conference hosted by Bishop T.D. and First Lady Serita Jakes of The Potter’s House of Dallas, Inc. 

The 2011 “Woman, Thou Art Loosed!” conference will take place at Lakewood Church in Houston, the church home of Pastors Joel and Victoria Osteen from Thursday, October 20, 2011 through Saturday, October 22, 2011.  The theme is “Facing Forward.”  
The 2011 Musical Line up includes:
•    Karen Clark Sheard, Four-time Grammy®Award-winning singer, musician and songwriter who began her career as a member of the Grammy®Award-winning Clark Sisters, gospel’s legendary female group

•    Fred Hammond & GradDad Turner,  an all-new Jazz band with Fred Hammond heading up the bass with solo artists Michael Bethany and Steve Huff

•    Preashea Hilliard, up-and-coming gospel artist and daughter to Bishop I.V. and Dr. Bridgett Hilliard, is making a name for herself with bold new sounds of gospel, rock, and pop bridging the gap between black and white church music

•    Israel Houghton, Dove, Grammy®, Stellar, and Soul Train Award-winning  singer, songwriter/producer, serves as the worship leader at Lakewood Church in Houston

•    Tamela Mann, Dove Award winning, NAACP Image Award nominated singer and actress, known for her roles in various Tyler Perry productions

•    The Nevel Sisters, critically-acclaimed gospel recording group, comprised of all sisters, committed to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through song since 1977

•    Bishop Gary Oliver, singer, songwriter, pastor of  Tabernacle of Praise church in Fort Worth, Texas,  and regular host of Trinity Broadcasting Network’s Praise the Lord

In addition to its rich musical tradition, the women’s event features eminent speakers: Bishop T.D. Jakes, Pastor Paula White, Dodie Osteen and others who will share inspirational messages with those seeking empowerment, inspiration or to realign their spiritual lives.  This year’s conference is expected to draw a multicultural crowd of more than 15,000 participants.  

New CD & DVD Recorded From Lakewood
The three-day conference also sets the stage for a new worship CD & DVD, entitled, “T.D. Jakes Presents Woman Thou Art Loosed! 2011 – “Facing Forward,” recorded at Lakewood Church.  

Among the featured guest artists on the CD & DVD are: Anointed, Gaye Arbuckle, Joy Hill, Israel Houghton, and John Murray. The “Woman, Thou Art Loosed!” album will be produced by Grammy- ® nominated producer, Jamar Jones and Grammy ®-Award-winning producer, Myron Butler in partnership with Jakes’ Dexterity Sounds and distributed through Universal Music Group.

A Celebrated Legacy
 “T.D. Jakes Presents ‘Woman Thou Art Loosed!’ 2011 – Facing Forward,” is the third in a series of recorded worship experiences captured in real-time during the “Woman, Thou Art Loosed!” conference.   

T.D. Jakes and The Potter’s House first recorded “live” from the New Orleans Superdome in 1997. The resulting album, “Woman, Thou Art Loosed! - Songs of Healing and Restoration was produced by Grammy ®, Stellar and Dove Award-nominated Producer, Marcus Dawson and Steven Ford. The second recording occurred in 2002 and was produced by Kevin Bond and Steve Lawrence. Entitled “Run to the Water… The River Within,” the critically acclaimed project received a 2003 Grammy ® nomination.
