Pastor Rita Twiggs

Dr. Rita Twiggs has served in ministry as an evangelist for over twenty years. She is CEO of Rita Twiggs Ministries, Inc. and Rita Twiggs Evangelistic Association, which has spanned the nation. She has written several books. Her most recent release, "Loosed to Love" is now going into its second printing.

Dr. Twiggs joined the Potter's House staff two years ago to serve as the Director of Discipleship. Ordained in February 2001, she was recently added to the Pastoral Staff. She oversees the Potter's House Deaf Ministry, as well as the Potter's House School of Ministry and the Ministerial Department, where she trains, develops and leads licensed and ordained ministers.

Evangelist Twiggs is the author of Loosed to Love, The Two Minute Warning and Come Fly With Me. She is also the recording artist of the single Daddy Loves His Girl. The theme of her life is found in Nehemiah 8:10 which says,

"Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength."
