The Power to Change Your World
Get Ready - Volume 11, Issue 1
It is no mistake that the book of Acts falls in the New Testament. The New Testament means a new covenant, a new order, or a newness. This newness does not mean God has changed. God is the same today, yesterday, and always. However, it does tell us His methods change because He is a progressive God. He is a God of action, not a religious symbol you hang on the wall or a statue. He is a God of movement.

Making A Difference In The World
Get Ready - Volume 11, Issue 1
In an historic move September 2005, Bishop Jakes led some 300 mostly African Americans on a humanitarian missions trip to Africa. And, approximately 140 members of The Potter's House choir accompanied him to record a CD to be released Spring 2006. Also accompanying him were other American bishops, pastors, several political representatives, and business professionals (to network and stir the Kenyan economy), some congregants, family, and friends. Faith for Africa: Kenya Missionä appears to have been the largest ever single group of slave descendants to visit Africans as U. S. Missionaries. "African Americans may have left in slave ships," Bishop Jakes said, "but we returned in 747s."

The Kenya Experience Partners' Conference 2005
Get Ready - Volume 11, Issue 1
From Thursday, October 27 through Sunday, October 30, 2005, The Potter's House of Dallas was magically transformed into the continent of Africa to represent the theme and purpose of this year's Partners' Conference, The Kenya Experience. Inspired by the recent mission trip to Kenya, which many Partners joined in in late September through early October, the theme was also reflected in the programming, entertainment, and messages.

Tell Somebody
Get Ready - Volume 11, Issue 1
It has been our good pleasure to communicate with you for over ten years now. It is my hope as your new Partner Relations Director to see more people partner with this ministry than ever before. We are doing a tremendous work and it is because of you, your giving, your prayers, and love that we are enabled to do mighty works. As a partner of this ministry, I want you to reach out to others and bring them into the ministry of T. D. Jakes and our partner program. Because you are givers, you already know that the benefits of becoming an Aaron's Army or Bishop's Circle member are limitless, even eternal.
